Synopsis
Well, there’s this town in Texas called Rimpau. Population four fifty, and falling.
And there’s this woman named Velma who grew up there. Moved away - greener pastures and that - only to get called back some years later by her grandfather. Quick project he needs help with, won’t take but a day or two.
There’s more waiting for Velma in Rimpau than she realizes. A lot more, that she might’ve liked to leave in the past. But then, that’s most of what’s waiting for her. The past.
There’s also this guy named Bud. He dies.
But that’s a whole other story.
